Join The Art Museum for a warm and creative winter Makers Night and explore the art of hand-poured, scented candles. Participants will design their own custom candle from start to finish, choosing fragrances, colors, and decorative elements that reflect their personal style. Everyone will leave with their own unique creation to brighten these winter evenings!

A prehistoric mystery is waiting to be solved! Step into the role of investigator as we explore the giant dragonfly from Life Before Dinosaurs: Meet the Permian Monsters. Follow the clues it left behind, imagine its world, and create your own story of life in the Permian skies!

Part of a limited-time monthly series where kids search for clues and solve mysteries in the exhibits. Two sessions are available on the same Saturday each month: juniors ages 6 to 9, and detectives ages 10 to 13.

Want to sew with friends, meet new people, and spread love and warmth across the world? Come learn and share your knowledge at QuiltComm, our local and free community quilting workshop. Quilting and sewing experience are helpful, but not necessary. Anyone from ages 13 – 103 is invited. Through the help of wonderful volunteers in our community, we will have stations for each step of the quilt-making process: pressing, cutting with a rotary cutter, piecing, basting, machine quilting, and binding. We will not be hand quilting or tying quilts at this time, but there is so much more to do. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
